Bilimungwe is one of our favourite camps in this southern sector of the park, it is classy yet not over the top, it doesn’t stand out from its surroundings. It feels a bit more comfortable and luxurious than the more basic bush camps, yet with all the furniture being made out of natural materials you still feel very much like you are experiencing Africa.
The camp was rebuilt in 2011 moving its position slightly and turning round the chalets so that they face watering holes instead of a dry dambo, this means that you never quite know what you are going to see sat out on your deck or sat having lunch.
The Bushcamp Company have 6 camps down in this remote southern sector, each is very different from rustic bushcamps to more luxurious tented camps and more solid stone built structures. We think that we can probably find a Bushcamp Company combination to suit most travellers so give us a talk to talk through your options.
